From Passion to Purpose
The Cybersecurity Club began in 2021 when a small group of AOU students realized there was no dedicated space on campus for those fascinated by information security. What started as informal study sessions in a computer lab has grown into one of the most active student organizations at the university.
Today, we run weekly hands-on labs, host national CTF competitions, organize industry panels, and prepare students for professional certifications. Our members have gone on to careers in penetration testing, security operations, and digital forensics at leading organizations across the Kingdom.
We believe cybersecurity is not just a technical discipline — it's a responsibility. Every member of our club is committed to using their skills ethically, protecting the digital infrastructure that Saudi Arabia's future depends on.
